YSM Series 2 studio monitors continue the decades-long tradition of accuracy and transparency that Yorkville Sound established with the iconic YSM-1. Designed for home, project, and professional studios, YSM powered monitors let you mix with confidence and clarity.
The YSM6-2 features integrated amplifiers that provide 75 watts of program power. The 6.5 low-frequency driver and 1 silk dome tweeter offer a wide frequency response and reduce ear fatigue over long listening sessions.
Like a great mix, a great monitor is all about the details. The custom-designed waveguide on the front baffle perfectly couples the woofer and tweeter, which are meticulously time-aligned to eliminate phase issues. Low and high shelving EQs fine-tune the sound to better match the acoustics of the mixing environment, and transparent limiters protect both drivers against clipping and overheating. The rear panel is ready for any source, with XLR, balanced 1/4", and unbalanced RCA inputs.
