Full Stack Web Developer

Status: Full-Time permanent
Location: Pickering, ON
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm


The role is responsible for designing, coding, modifying and updating company websites, ensuring seamless cross-browser/mobile friendly functionality. The web developer will aim to create visually appealing, functional sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.

  • Content management of our websites, ensuring W3C compliance
  • Maintain and create code for both front end and back end development
  • Incorporating jQuery plugins
  • Maintain and develop relational databases
  • Making sure content adheres to our brand guidelines
  • Monitoring site usage logs, performance and site security, while troubleshooting errors
  • Support the team on day-to-day initiatives
  • Other programming tasks based on business needs


  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in responsive web development
  • An accredited degree in Computer Science or Diploma in Web Design and Programming
  • Experience in development of responsive web pages using PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS and JavaScript (Bootstrap and jQuery is an asset)
  • Experience in object oriented design and development
  • Candidate must be comfortable with LAMP Stack environment
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and consistently meet deadlines
  • Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
  • The position requires constant communication with colleagues and management
  • Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units
  • Good overall communication skills, a lot of verbal and written contact with peers and managers
  • Positive and constructive "can do" attitude


  • SEO knowledge and application is an asse
  • Photoshop skills to collaborate smoothly with our Graphics Designer
  • B2B Portal development would be an asset
  • Familiarity with musical and audio terminology would be an asset
  • Some experience in video production, photography, and animation would be an asset
